About "Música, Ruidos y Ambientes" (acoustic EP)

"For some time now, I've had in mind the idea of recording some music in an acoustic and experimental format. So the plan was: a single instrument for the entire recording (which in this case would be an acoustic guitar, and always the same one, my old 1976 Ibanez acoustic guitar), in the same context and environment for all sessions; in single takes (i.e., without subsequent overdubs and/or additions); and at the same time, starting and finishing the entire process in just two or three days (composing, recording, mixing, etc.). Finally, this whole little adventure took place on October 9, 10, and 11, 2021. I usually composed the material and ideas in the mornings, and recorded it in the afternoon. This is how these brief structures, influenced by world music, ambient, incidental music, and other subgenres, began to flow. And the EP's title concept is partly related to the idea and decision not to "prune" the "noises" of the instrument, wood, drag, etc., during the mixing process; instead, leaving them in a more natural state and trying to reproduce the soundscape of the moment"
